what month did anxiety/cortisol surges lift?

to all benzo buddies: when did your anxiety/cortisol surges lift? what months? did I left altogether or went away little by little. ?

I'm almost 9 months out and my anxiety has not let up.

I am almost 16 months out and it started to lift within the last month or so.

Benzo healing is so non linear, and no two people are alike,

That's what so hard about this drug, it's a guessing game when

symptoms will leave forever, my adrenaline surges have been one

Of the worst symptom to deal with, seem to come like clockwork

8am, 3-5 pm and 9-10 pm again, it's awful. Wasn't this bad in tapering

but was there, like you just hope it leaves soon!!!!

Anxiety was gone after about six months of completely being off of Xanax but it was unbearable at first.  Sometimes I felt like I just needed to run down the street because I was so nervous.  It's actually better now than it was before I started taking Xanax which is funny.  I'm at 16 months off now and I still have other issues but the anxiety is completely gone from my life.  This seems to be the one thing that withdrawing from Xanax cured but it was still much more trouble than it was worth.  Healing from this is crazy because it like taking two steps forward and one step back.  You never really know how you will feel from day to day.  However, I'm thankful to God that I can press on each day.

Anxiety ran rampant with me first year then eased up till 16 months. Now not really an issue, definatly no panic attacks can just feel it a little every now and then
