Head pressure and noise

Recommended Posts

I'm n bed with the flu and the pain from the head pressure along with the loud electrical noise is unbearable.Whatever the Klonopin did in my brain its left me with loud electrical noise which on days like this it's hard to believe it'll get better. I feel so alone with it all. All comments appreciated.

I'm right there with you. It's almost unbearable. I continue to push through with great hope that we'll make it through to the other side. Some days I feel hopeless. But I continue to try.

Thanks Twinkle. I spoke to a support helpline yesterday and they told be that I should be looking at a recovery period of two years. I'm only four months off benzos at the moment. He said try to distract yourself. Take each day as it comes. So thats todays goal.

I have the electric buzzing in my head too on and of, I don't notice it so much during the day, but when I go to bed it's more noticeable. The other day my refrigerator was making a buzzing sound and for some min I thought it was my head :idiot:

Im sure we will recovery all of is, ITS just a matter of time.

If not I'll apply for a new job as a refrigerator 🙃

Big hugs from Norway 🇳🇴

Even though someone feel recovered or healed after 4-5-6-7 months, I still think we should consider we are vulnerable for at least two years. I think all symptoms get lesser and lesser and some others pop in, but slowly they bill demis in intensity.

All my best  :smitten: :smitten:

I also have the high pitched electric buzzing in my ears.  It was loud and constant in the beginning but now, as I enter into month 5 from my CT, it's different.  I notice it most at night when I'm in bed and reading or trying to fall asleep and in the morning when I wake up and it's quiet.  I don't really notice it much during the day unless something makes me think about it, then I hear it.  The busier and more occupied and involved I am in something, the less I notice it.

Have you tried a bit of ibuprofen? During the flu alot of water and a little ibuprofen goes a long way.

Thanks for your replies. It means a lot to be able to talk about these distressing symptoms with people who understand. The loud fizzing and static electricity noise in my head really gets me down and is constant. I think there have been only a couple of days and none too recently when I've had to listen to hear it. Today it was booming over traffic on busy city streets, over conversations and reading is really hard now without background noise.

I have to believe I am healing. Every day I'm getting better. It'll take as long as it takes but I'm getting better.
