Is this what they call benzo flu?

I've been under a  bit of stress and still tapering. I made a small cut a few days ago. 3 % only and today I feel like I have a sore throat , headache and really fatigued. I could barely walk up the hill today to my house.

 

Is this benzo flu perhaps? I'm in good spirits but I feel really unwell in a lot of ways, physically I'm just not like I used to be. This worries me and causes a lot of anxiety.

Benzo flu gives you aches and pains, but I don't think a sore throat. You may actually be coming down with a cold or something, it is winter after all. Or allergies. Maybe you should hold for a while and take it easy until whatever it is passes. I don't think a 3% cut would have a dramatic effect unless you're just super sensitive.

So yes, I did come down with a real cold. (I feel kinda silly now)

I felt pretty crappy but it passed in a few days. My fears that I had an impaired immune system from withdrawal were proven wrong as with most of the other benzo lies.

-linnie, dont feel silly, -it can happen, i have had just a sore throat for 2months, -after a big drop...

Had bloods, swab, urine... strong antibiotics and a short steroid course... the worry was that i have no spleen, so they are thourough... -i even gave up smoking!!! -yay..

But nothing showed up, and the meds made no difference... it is in sync with my sxs, and others have mentioned it too...

So no, dont feel silly asking any question!!!

But im not so sure it would b nice or ok, to say, -im glad u just got the flue!!!

Pls get well soon... -warm lemon n honey is nice for some...

Thanks- I am feeling better since my cold went away, and strangely it only lasted 3 days which is unusual for me. I actually healed faster.
