If I get Pneumonia Again (I'm feeling like I am)

Dear BB:

 

Any advice on antibiotics if I get pneumonia?  I'm beginning to wheeze so if this gets worse, I'm very concerned.  The reason I reinstated to Tamazepam a couple of years ago is because I got pneumonia due to going so long without adequate sleep.  On January 1, it will have been three months since I jumped.  Sleep isn't good, but I'm getting 4-6 hours of broken sleep per night.  I DO NOT want to have to take anything for sleep again because I will not live through another taper.  Any advice anyone can give will be much appreciated.

Depending on many factors:  allergies to meds, other meds you take, any other illness you have,

 

Two good ones for pneumonia are zpak and augmentin

 

You don't have to take zpak but for 5 days.  Not a harsh med

Augmentin is a little stronger.  Can cause diary

 

Stay away from Levaquin if you can

I have a Vicodin allergy but do not take any meds currently.  If I have to see a doctor, should I tell them about the benzo issue and not wanting to have to go through another taper?  I'm it even sure they would work for me anyway at this point...
