Zoloft hell

Good afternoon everyone. I used to take clonazepam and have been off that for almost a year bc I got pregnant. I was doing fine until about 6 months ago when I started experiencing Post Partum depression. Through all of this they had me start taking Zoloft. Well a three weeks ago I was 8 days late for my period and so I stopped Zoloft completely. I felt ill, yesterday I went to ER because I felt like I was having a stroke. The PCP put me back on Zoloft at 50MG like I was taking before. Anyone know how long it takes to reastabalize back to a dose if you've gone off of it cold turkey? The only reason I did was I though I was pregnant.

It can take 3 or 4 days for blood levels to stabilize and ADs to kick in again. If you want to get off Zoloft, you will want to taper it, especially as you get down to the lower doses. Also, if you need to reinstate at any time, you should be able to do so at a much lower dosage than the original one (as your body has already partially compensated for a lower dose).
