20.5 months off - update

Hello all,

I am 20.5 months off. Wanted to give and update to everyone. I am currently on zero drugs or supplements. I occasionally take ibuprohen. I work full time from home in IT and this adds to the stress but it also helps me get distracted.

Symptoms that have left:

- Tinnitus - completely gone. Left at around 9 to 11 months off

- Depression - a big part of it has left started on month 9

- Depersonalization - I don't feel like I have much of this left

- Night terror -  has left for the most part. Rarely I have a night where I am in terror. I do not see a need to explain further. Those that have experienced it know what I am talking about.

- Feeling of hopelessness - considerably less

- Suicide thoughts - a lot less frequent

- Intrusive negative thoughts - less intense but still present

- Ability to focus - much better

- Jaw shaking - much better

- Vision - better. After a bad night of sleep objects and/or a wave, object seem a lot shiner.

- Panic attacks - Much rarer but still present

Symptoms that are still at large:

- Nerve pain - All over my body. Mostly on the right side of my back. Recently more on my legs, arms, and my head.

- Muscle pain - All over my body. Rarely diminishes and very rarely is considerably less. Mostly on the right side of my back and neck.

- Muscle spasm - Mainly on the right side of my back. Sometimes brutal. Recently on other parts of the body like shoulders.

- Headaches/head pressure - still very bad. Sometimes very brutal. Head nerve pain and head muscle spasms add more to this.

- Sleep - overall better than a year ago but very unpredictable. Sometimes I sleep 3 hours, sometimes 4,and sometimes 5 or even 6. Always broken where I get jolted awake from anxiety. I would say this is still a big problem for me. Have not had an allnighter in quite a while.

Anxiety - Much better than a year ago but still at large.

Ability to exercise - Almost zero. My body goes into pain immediately after exercising.

Anger - Still at large. I do have moment of bliss, however.

Fatigue - still at large.

I know I am forgetting stuff some feel free to ask.

Overall, I am better than before, during, and after my taper. But I am still far away from healing and am suspecting it may take a few more years.

Anyone who can shed some light on the nerve pain and muscle spasms as well as insomnia, please do so. Those are my worst offenders.

Thank you for your update! Going on 26 months and I still have some the same remaining symptoms. They come and go. Keeping active helps! Sometimes exercise helps and at times makes it worse. The fact that my symptoms come and go gives me hope that soon they will ALL disappear.
