Titration schedule from .5 mg Clonazapam

[Re...]

Hi there,

I have watched the liquid titration video and read other people's suggestions on how to micro-taper.  I was was wondering if anyone could help me create a schedule to taper off of .5 mg of Clonazapam.  I have been down as low as .25 mg in the past, but have always done dry cuts with difficult side effects.  I tend to be very sensitive to any changes.  I need to go slow and be cautious.

Thank you so much for any insight and guidance.  I appreciate it so much.

Also, I would like to use milk or a milk substitute and am drawn to the idea of micro-tapering or something like this.  However, I have noticed that in the past withdrawal symptoms catch up to me after a few weeks of making a cut and I am concerned about getting caught off-guard if I am making cuts everyday even if they are really small.  Should I build in holds?

It took me a few years to get off 200 mg of Seroquel.  I have taken Wellbutrin in the past.  This .5 mg is the last bit of medication.

Thank you so much for your help!

Best wishes,

Really, you don't want to schedule. Instead, let your body set the pace. A cautious place to begin would be less than 10% a month. I usually suggest 8% for starters. 5% of  .5mg is  .04mg which would be  .0013mg a day. Milk is a good choice for K. Make sure it is whole milk. And yes, build in as many holds as you want if that makes you more comfortable. I would not expect you would need many, but that is okay.
