this light of mine..

When I walk with my dog I meet people with other dogs. Sometimes its only small talk, sometimes its "wisdom from a stranger.".

 

Today I met a lady who has lost her husband. We walked 10 minutes side by side and shared strategies and thoughts - we talked as if we knew each other for a long time. After that she told me that it was wonderful talking to me and in her eyes I could see that and my heart was full of joy and peace. I don't think I will see her again, it was kind of magic..

 

With every month without benzos (now 8 months) those situations get more and more.Its like .. benzos and all the other medications have killed the light in my soul. Now that the light is back I am able to let myself shine again so that others can meet me and we can shine together somehow and make the world warmer..

 

Just wanted to share. My day was so grey and tired and then this little situation made me happy...
