I have been trying to taper

After cold turkey and fast taper

Was doing ok until I hit 1mg

Gripped w terror and burning

Non functional suddenly

which way to go?

He said I seemed "all over the place" " flight of ideas" - no prior hx of mental illness

I am fighting terror inside and it's hard it's so painful it makes me dizzy

Trying to be strong and add no more meds but this is horrific

I did a two week cold turkey, and I don't recommend it.  I would recommend tapering much more slowly so the symptoms aren't so bad.

 

The terror is one of the top symptoms of withdrawal.  Just remind yourself it's not real, and it's chemical.
