30 days Benzo Free and having mood problems ??

Today is 30 days benzo free for me !!!!!  I am having great difficulty to get my moods under control.  I am on short term disability leave from work but I want to go back as soon as possible.  I seem to wake up extremely agitated and having some flash backs to trauma, which in turn are making me even more anger.  Then later in the day I get so depressed about it.  I am not on any medications at all.  I do use Medical Marijuana (MMJ) to calm me down when my mood gets too intense(up or down) because it scares me.  I also need MMJ to sleep otherwise I am not sleeping.

So my question to all of you is at what point does one break down and seek the help of a PDoc ??

I lost my medical insurance because I had to take a medical leave from work and after 12 weeks they can stop covering you.  :( So I finished my tapper unsupervised. But I am a veteran and there is a good va hospital here that I can go to for help.  I  do not know what to do and I am very hesitant to try meds as I have had life threatening allergic reactions to them in the past.  I feel stuck and not sure how to move forward toward getting my life back on track ??

Why would you expect to feel better at one month?  Most feel worse right about now where you are at. This may take some time for you to feel good again. I'd see how you feel in month six.  Good luck.

I am about six months off and still have extreme mood problems . I don't think the doctor can offer you any help with benzo recovery unless he is benzo wise. People on this website know more about benzo withdrawel than doctors do and that is a fact.

I feel stuck as well it's just a part of recovery and until we are fully healed I think we are going to feel that way. Watch this video might help you in deciding about medications. I think your safer just using mmj.

Recovering from benzos isn't a cake walk, but tons of people have already done it so don't be discouraged. You can do it.

It's not all going to be bad you will have days where you feel better maybe even weeks. I had almost a full month where I went back to living life. Still had symptoms but everything was managable. The healing process is like s roller coaster ride many ups and many downs but eventually you will level out  , be back to normal and step off the ride.
