Help -- has anyone developed lower back pain and foot neuropathy from withdrawal

Need some feedback -- during my taper I developed very mild neuropathy in my left foot; post rehab, I started having very bad lower back pain and the neuropathy increased and also went to the right foot

I saw orthopedic and they did an MRI; my spine is a mess with degenerative disc disease and a mild bulge but this has been there for awhile and I was asymptomatic

Is there any anecdotal evidence that withdrawal exacerbates back pain? My left foot is not numb but it is full of pins and needles and I have some burning in the leg.

I have trouble sitting now and this is within the last 5 weeks.

I am 4.5 months off benzos.

Thanks!

Yes, I have low back pain and neuropathy in both feet. As soon as I stopped taking the benzos it started and has never stopped. Sometimes I have to sleep with a heating pad on my back, in fact, more nights now. And my feet cycle between pins and needles, and flat out burning. I'm so sorry you have this.

Yes, the pain in my left foot is what bothers me most. Although I have burning, and pins and needles in both. I've had MRIs, physical therapy, but there's no clear reason... Other than withdrawal. I'm 7 months out and I have Windows of tolerable pain. I hear it's one of the last symptoms to go away. I'm hopeful.
