went to new doctor today and they prescribed lamictal.  took this years ago.  main problems, insomnia, anxiety, and depression.  always starts with insomnia.

 

did it work for you guys?

I was prescribed this as well as others on this site. I have read more positive reviews than negative ones regarding this med. I chickened out due to the very rare event of Stevens Johnson syndrome (1 case per thousand).  If you do decide to take it, and it helps, I am sure others would like to hear about your experience with it.

Sorry Thunderdan.  I tossed mine.  Didn't seem to make a difference but I was not yet in taper.  You are ultimately responsible for what you put into your body.  If you are concerned at all, I'd speak further with the doctor.  Perhaps another med may be better for you to accept.  I understand your insomnia.  YUK!  Might you be open to treating the insomnia with a "sleep CD" (for the brain waves), guided meditation, acupressure or lavender oil - or a combo thereof?  Good luck.
