Hi everyone. I learned here in this forum that we get cortisol rush during withdrawals and I used to feel wd at mornings and start to feel better around evenings.  but these days mornings are better for me and feel wd around evenings. It has changed. Is this common,too? or Do you always feel better around evenings? Your experiences are appreciated...Thanks.

Lately (the past two days of too much stress, and missing my morning hikes in nature), I find that the cortisol is higher, and the food thing more sensitive (stomach gaba...). If I do a desert or cookie snack attack at night, my mornings are edgier. It's all tied together and I have to really watch the sugar/wheat/flour thing at night. No more food comas or sugar comas at night...Karuna

Thank you everyone, Oh I didn't notice that food thing is tied with cortisol...i think maybe it has happened on me,too. I'll watch foods,too. and maybe mine is related to stress,too. actually I have no clue what will be stress and cause withdrawals, just small things can be stress.....so Its so frustrating journey...

I've definitely found food to be a contributing factor. I've cut out all sugar and caffeine during my taper. And Chinese food - God, I miss my Chinese food.

Supposedly high dose vitamin c is effective for cortisol control. 5 grams or so a day.
