Sorry for all my posts but this thought just crossed my mind today. About a year ago I stopped drinking, before that I used to binge drink every few days. Will this impact my taper or healing time in anyway?

No, what's done is done. Don't worry about past mistakes during your taper and obviously don't drink anymore during tapering but this kind of worrying will only make your taper worse in my opinion. No, it won't effect your taper negatively ... and it's not going to take longer to heal, these are ALL your withdrawal fears talking !!! Just forget about it ... what's done is done.      :tickedoff:

If you haven't drank in a year this should be of no consequence to your taper. Different if you were still on those binges. Then your taper would clearly be a problem. B
