Five days ago my NEW addiction doc changed me over from 1mg Clonazapam to 10mg Disappear. I was told to stop taking Clonazapam that night. I haven't taken any Clonazapam for Five days. Even when I was on the Clonazapam I was having 24 hour sweats and anxiety/panic.  Last night I had a good 2 hour window and slept for 7 hours straight. Does this mean I'm healing a little? Is it a good sign?  Then this morning SLAM...the anxiety/fatigue set in. My mornings tend to be awful and then I start to feel a little better at night. Does anyone think the C/T Clonazapam caught up to me? Has this happened to anyone else? Please reply...need some support today!!

IMO Yes.....clon has a long half life and now you are feeling the effects. Can you find some more clon, you wont wanna suffer a cold turkey.

Even though I've been on V 10mg for the same five days? Does this still mean I C/T?  I have plenty of

K left  but I don't want to make it worse!

Oh you mean you crossed over to valium?  Okay, well I don't know how that works.  I'm sure someone who has crossed over from klonopin to valium can chime in here.

Yes...five days ago! I'm wondering if you can still have withdrawals even with a Valium crossover!

I did a partial cross from Xanax to Valium. I still felt a few symptoms with each swap for two weeks until my body adjusted. My dr told me it takes about two weeks for Valium to build up in your system and your body to adjust, so you may need at least that long just to get used to the switch.

Also, it's possible you don't have enough Valium to offset the clonazepam drop. I know at least one chart has them at a 1:10 ratio like your dr says, but the Ashton chart has it at 1:20. It can vary by individual. If your body is closer to Ashton's ratio then you are also dealing with a pretty large cut in the total amount of benzos in your system, so you are experiencing withdrawal from the clonazepam.

For me it was day 4 to day 5 after cold turkey, I reinstated.  We call it benzo hell.  I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.  If day 6 and 7 get worse you may choose to updose/ go back to your most recent dosage and stabilize if possible.  For me it didn't get better until I reinstated, I hope you don't have to go through that.
