I've been reading BenzoBuddies on and off for many months and am excited to contribute to the community.  I have been benzo free for a little more than four months, after regularly taking up to 6mg/day of klonopin for three years, and a mix of other benzos for four years before that.  I am finally feeling like my old self (if I can even remember who that was!) and almost all my withdrawal symptoms have gone away.  It feels amazing to be free.

Hi junebop, glad you're here and congratulations to you on your benzo freedom!  Wonderful news that you're already feeling so good.  I hope you'll take some time to write about this in Success Stories to give hope to those who are still suffering.  Everyone likes to see someone heal quickly.

Hi and welcome, Junebop.  We are about the same time frame for getting off Benzo's, but you are healing faster than I am..I am pleased that you are posting.

Welcome -- I, too am about a week from the four month mark.  My symptoms are much better than the first month, but am still having intense mental suffering, exhaustion and now lower back spasms.  It's good to have a member who is feeling this well this early.
