Have I slowed down too much?

When I first started my taper I was in a rush, but now I'm making much smaller cuts. I kind of realized the withdrawal symptoms are worse the bigger the cut is. I wonder if it's better to taper faster like I was before and suffer more... or do a slow taper and retain my sanity throughout the process lol. I'd like to be off this by January 2017. However, I don't see that happening without some seriously bad days. I suspect this will take until mid 2017 realistically.

A slow, symptom-based taper will give you the minimum discomfort.  The ultimate slow taper is a daily microtaper.

It took me 2 years to taper off of 9mg, but I had only occasional, mild sxs, and zero residual sxs after my taper.
