Hi. I took my last benzo on 6/17/16. I hope to meet individuals suffering withdrawal symptoms, and  uild hope that depersonaliation will end. To talk with people who understand what I  going through would be wonderful and assist me through this  horrific journey. Thank you

Congrats on being benzodiazepine free. I am sorry you feel so badly. I don't think I had used the word "horrific" ever in my life until I detoxed from 8 mg of Ativan. I have used it hundreds of times to describe my withdrawal. I too had DP and DR, so my heart goes out to you. The early months of withdrawal can be extremely difficult to say the least. You will get plenty of support here. We do understand what you are going through and the collective wisdom of our membership is enormous.
