Is it really possible to get bad side effects just by missing one dose?

I feel like such a naive fool.

 

I felt stabilised yesterday and today I was tardy with my dose. I missed my 5mg valium that I usually take at 9am and I went out at around lunch. Then I was hit with feelings of severe unreality - I felt really weird especially when I was talking to someone. I have taken my 5mg valium 15 minutes ago to see if the feelings ease.

 

This is freaking crazy, is it really possible to get symptoms 3 hours after missing one pill??

 

To think how stupid I was to want to rapid taper. I'm using the Ashton protocol now I've decided.

This hasn't happened to me unless I realize that I forgot my pill and then I get panicky. But, I think it's possible that it could. Stranger things happen during withdrawal so I would try not to let it upset me. Just take your pill when you remember and do your best to stay calm. B
