[Ja...]
I am 6 months out and by no means healed. I feel like I could maybe atemp a part time job. I am very afraid of the 10 month Mark that a lot of people talk about where everything seems to go wrong. When do people finally decide it is ok to try and go on with their lives? [fe...]
For me that is a tough question. I say I'm 95%healed, but if I have a stressful day it knocks me off my feet. Makes my head spin. I want to go back to work but I know I'm not ready yet..
[...]
James, Just because some people had a rough time in their 10th month doesn't mean you will. Many others including myself saw some improvement then. Everyone is different. Think positive and expect to improve! The job thing. Yeah I remember that well. I had a nice window in my 7th month and thought okay it's time to start working again. I applied for the position and then a couple of days later the window was long gone and I was thrust into a bad wave again, then they called me for an interview. I panicked and had an anxiety attack. The first thing I said was, "what was I thinking, how am I gonna work in this condition." Long story short, I struggled severely through the job interview, got hired on the spot, worked one shift and had to retire because of WD sxs were so bad. Just make sure you are well enough to actually do the job without crashing and burning. In my window I thought I could do it, then the reality of WD hit and I failed. You may be fine and do well, just be sure before you make a commitment to someone. On the other hand it might be good for you to stretch out there and see what you can do. I wish you good success in your recovery!
