[be...]
Am I the 1 in a thousand who doesn't recover? That's what my mind is saying. I've done the work, tapered 2mg K over 6 mos. and felt all the wonderful sms along the way. Never really got to an unmanageable point, but now that I've jumped it just continues to be bad or worse everyday. Yes it's been 8 days since jumping but in my mind with 6 mos. of healing behind me I would hope to be moving forward. Anyone have a realistic timeline? I know everyone is different, but surely someone has a similar experience. Need something to grab onto.
[me...]
Hi, The first month or so off benzos is called the acute withdrawal period, for a reason. It's generally when the most symptoms appear, and what you're going through is normal. As time goes on you will heal. Time is the healer, but there's really no timeline that can be predicted in advance.
[Da...]
It is obviously different for every person. When I was 8 days off I was bedridden in the worse way. Now at 9 months out I still have tons of anxiety and brain problems that never seems to go away. I hope you feel some relief soon but you definitely have wait longer and ride out the symptoms. [be...]
If someone knew the exact timeline, they would become a millionaire overnight.
[Si...]
I'm 6.5 months from a cold turkey kick and things have been horrific for me. 2 mg is not a small dose and 8 days is just the begging of recovery even if you tapered. Hold tight and know it will pass. Just be glad you aren't me who is struggling and will be for the foreseeable future. People who tapper always recover faster statistically speaking. [Ju...]
The half life of Klonopin is 40 hours or so, therefore for 2 days post jump, your body was still self-tapering. Of the many post jump comments I've read on here, 2 weeks seem to be when you notice a turn-around. Just hang on for 6 more days, you can do it. Lao-Tzu said " Many people fail on the verge of success "; Imagine how great you will feel in a few weeks, and what you will do with the new you. Good luck, justaman
