Send me some STRENGTH

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

Well today has blown me apart.  I was actually travelling a lot better in the past week and then WHAM in the face today.

Earlier in the week I  had a little bit of spring in my stride but that has all disappeared. I so much yearn for it back.

I've been really strong for 5 months and I need to hear from others on how they've handled these dramatic ups and downs.

Just finding it hard to get focused on my healing journey when I feel like this.

I feel really robbed and left to flounder.

Thanks for reading and listening.

It really does get better Tallow love. I'm 13 mos out and my only major complaint is lingering anxiety. The only way to enjoy life is to get out there and experience it. I've found that when I push myself on the days I don't feel up to it, I always have fun.  ;)

Thanks for your kind words Ferggie.  I'm glad your feeling a lot better and getting on with life.

My days will come I just have to be patient.  I just feel so poisoned and trapped in a sick body. Hopefully these days will pass soon and I'll see some light again.

Trying my hardest to get out there but some days are just tooooooo hard!!!!!!!

Your support is greatly appreciated.

I can't wait to be 13 months out.

Its still  quite early for you. Your pattern of valium use over the years is similar to mine. All the starting and stopping....kindling...is what makes it so bad. Valium was the hardest to get over for me almost 3yrs total. But lemme tell ya when the window opens and stays open its like a rebirth of sorts. For many many years I just suffered from the withdrawal, I didnt know any better at that time. I assumed I was just that way. Well fool me once shame on you but never ever again. Hang tight....change will come...

Hang in there, TL, it will pass. You've come a long way, and the spring will come back! Expect it!! I like how you put it when you said:"I feel really robbed and left to flounder". That's my feeling many. many days....I know it's such a dreadful feeling, but remember your good days and look forward to more!
