Shaking, Shaking, Shaking..............

Can anyone tell me at what point during your recovery did this relentless shaking go away?  I shake constantly and it's driving me nuts. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might help to calm the shaking down?

Thanks!

They lasted until I was benzo-free for around 3-4 months.  Each month got a little better.  Warmth (warm bath or hot tub) and relaxation meditation helped me a little.  No magic fix for this, I'm afraid.

I still get it at 7.5 months out.  In fact, it wasn't very bad until about a month ago.  I mainly get it full body when I first wake up in the morning but it is in my hands 24/7 now it seems.  They don't shake when they are just there doing nothing (I can hold them out in front of me and nothing) but they shake a little when I try to do fine motor things or hold something light in my hands.  They have a sensation of being on the verge of shaking all the time though.  Is this from the CNS still being messed up?

I'm eight months out now and I only shake when I do something intricate like put an earring or a necklace on. I used to build computers for a hobby and I shake try to put cards into a slot. I had a panic attack yesterday, the first one in a long time and my body shook for a minute and I had to sit down on the floor. I think I was shaking more in acute which lasted like 60 days for me. I'm sure it will pass at some point.

I assume its because of our CNS is so ramped up.  I thought that my being 6 months out that it would have calmed down some but it seems to be getting worse which then makes me start obsessing that I have Parkinson's disease.  GOOD GRIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :idiot:

I am at 11 months and still get the shakes throughout my body. No rhyme or reason.

It has gotten better it comes and goes.

I have no remedies for this stuff only time and it seems to take a lot of that for me.

Everyone is different,so hope your's ends soon.

I get those as well... and I'm still withdrawing. They come in waves, but, indeed, they aren't going to be permanent! Hang on there!  8)
