May Klonopin actually be an activating drug?

o.O I'm surprised I've never experienced brain fog during this benzo nightmare... not when I was on the fully dose of the benzo, nor now I'm in withdrawal! It feels like my brain is hyperactive, instead. I was feeling this more while on higher doses of the drug (1 mg - 0.8 mgs). I don't feel so switched on now I'm low to 0.6 mgs... maybe a little bit. Of course, I still can't sleep unaided...  :-X

My memory has never been impaired, I've never got dumb or confused...

This drug has never 'sedated' me. Only knocked me out.

I tried Xanax too and it was extremely sedating, instead. Lorazepam had more sedating properties as well... I tried Halcion as well, but it knocked me out as well.

It's true, I've only been on it for a few months, but...

May it be due to the contemporary use of nootropics like L-theanine that are supposed to boost intelligence and stimulate the growth of new synapses? I'm incredibly lucid and was able to work and do complicate activities (scientific experiments) while on Klonopin...

I'm on pretty high doses of it (1 gram every day).

Hey Man,

I have no idea what your question is, but as far as your subject title -

No, Klonopin is definitely not an "activating drug".. It's complete shit and very dangerous.. like all drugs it'll "work" for a while, until it "suddenly" doesn't work anymore, and it turns on you, leaving a person high and dry.  but if you think it works for you, rock on.. keep doing it!  Yet, be warned, probably 100% of the people on this site (and you're no better or different than them) have had this drug turn on them in devastating ways.. It almost took my soul and my life.  If I could do it again, I'd never play with this shit..

Thanks for the reply, however what I meant is that oddly enough this drug never sedated me.  :o

And if taking it together with a nootropic prevented a decline in memory and attention.

why don't you run a little experiment then?  and use yourself as a guinea pig.. try clonazepam for years and years with a nootropic, (whatever that is..) and see if it doesn't affect your memory? maybe you're the exception to the rule, or you will find a breakthrough in science?

I've only been on it for several months. But I was surprised I wasn't even confused a little bit or over sedated but I was hyper functional.

Maybe it's a paradoxical reaction.
