[Mb...]
I feel like I have an iron mask on my face 24/7. It feels like someone took a screwdriver and tightened it throughout the day. It's a horrible feeling and very depressing. I am 3 months out tomorrow, and wondering if anyone else has felt this, or am I the only one? I have bad head pressure to, with pain ( this is new) in my left ear. This really sucks. I have Ok days and super bad days. But lately, last couple weeks have been solid bad. [So...]
Hi I have this and it's very gradually getting better. Some other members describe it as having a stone face or cement head. I can feel my own head healing and it literally feels like it's melting as it heals, because of the hardness. The feeling is mostly in my head though and not in my face. It makes me feel claustrophobic at times, like my head is in a cage. Its wicked. It will go away in time. We need the patience of saints in all this. [Mb...]
I couldn't have described it better. It feels so hard. A "stone face" is right. My face looks like it's frozen without any expression. A smile or grin feels forced. My neck is also super stiff. It gives me awful anxiety.
[So...]
It makes me anxious as well, because it's so far outside of any human experience.
[Ex...]
Yes! I experienced that during my cuts but not so much after my jump. It does go away. You're doing well! It's just a sign that your body is healing up.
[be...]
I have also had a sensation on my forehead that is really weird. It isn't like stone but if I pull my hair to one side my forehead feels extra sensitive in that spot. I can tap my forehead and it hurts. It is as if my head has a different sensation that I have never had before. I hope this means that our brains are healing and we are having referred pain and sensations. [Mb...]
Yeah. I've had sensitivity to my hair too, on various places when it touches my forehead or face.
[Af...]
Busybee, I have this especially on the left side of my face. Feels like it originates in my left ear then goes across my face and down my neck.
