[ra...]
I wonder if anyone experiencing intense dizziness tried vestibular exercices? Any improvements? I began today with just two 10 minutes walking: extremely didficult! It's my main symptom and only one symptom but, Jesus, it's pure torture! Worst in the afternoon/evening. I had to leave work... I tried meditation, works a little bit but doesn't last long. Any idea? Yes, I saw an ear specialist and he said his specialty only treats vertigo and he found my tests abnormal and made a prescription for a brain MRI. He doesn't believe anxiety can cause such a severe dizziness...
[Gr...]
I've had dizziness before due to Meniere's disease, your ENT may be testing you for that. But dizziness can also be a benzo withdrawal symptom as well. My ear dr had me do vestibular exercises for my mild to moderate dizziness and they gradually helped over time. [...]
Dizziness was my first symptom when I hit tolerance and is still one of my worst symptoms. I had an MRI and all was good. I went to an ENT doc and he said it was not an inner ear issue and vestibular would not work and it was from neck tension affecting the nerves in the neck going to the brain. He said he sees it often. He told me to buy a jell heat pack that you heat in the microwave then put it on my neck for about 10-15 min then massage my neck for another 10-15 min to try to relax the neck. It definitely helps but I know it is mainly from the benzo taper. I found a great kneading massager on Amazon that works great for $39.99 here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013TKU28W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hope this helps.
