Types of Pain & Sensations. . . . Source / Origin. . . who else wonders?

Some of us have experiences everything from ache to zing.  Luckily my pain does not persist and spikes at about a level 8 for a short time.  But there is a fine line between pains and sensation.  I have more sensations than persisting pains.  Some are merely nuisances but the origins are what is concerning me most.

Extremedies:    There are pains and sensations that I easily recognize as benzo related, but some are more specific and associated with other concerns I have.  If I use my ares I may get a cramping in my fore arms.  At times I have a lingering dull cramp like pain in my calves.  Sometimes in the morning when I stretch I get a full blown cramp (charlie horse) in my calf.

Lower Abdomen:    Various poking, zings, slight burning, aches, knots, cramps.  Nothing too severe and generally periodic.

Sternum:    Forget about even trying to go into this one.  It does everything!

There are too many types of pains and sensations to try describing.  So I wonder if any members are concerned about the origins of them.

Thanks in advance.

I can only speculate on this, but because the central nervous system is extremely sensitive after benzodiazepine use, I think these may be normal sensations that we simply don't notice when the cns is functioning normally by suppressing them.

I agree!!

The worst thing my WD gave me is this OVER-noticing of body processes. I am sure that a healthy person has the same things from time to time but I notice them, get worried, focus on symptoms, go crazy - things don't "go away".

My biggest goal is to try not to worry, to trust and let go..
