Normal Symptoms?

On my 6th day of tapering from 2 MG of Klonopin to 1.75. Cloudy memory/fogginess, restless sleep, increased depression and itchy skin. Not too bad on anything. Just observations thus far!

I'm in day 7 of a klonopin taper. Definitely sounds like "normal" in terms of what I'm experiencing (although debilitating headaches are on my list and the worst thing I am battling with during this process).

 

Keep me posted on how you progress! I've added in supplements today. Night is usually when my withdrawal symptoms are the worst but tonight I'm okay!

What supplements did you add? I am thinking about trying a small amount of melatonin, but want to wait until I am down to 1mg or until my sleep is terrible. Most difficult symptom is just kind of zoning out, poor concentration and memory. I think it is besides benzo withdrawal it is also a combination of aging and moderately poor sleep. Overall happy with wean so far. It helps me to focus on other things and not obsess over wean.

Klonopin is a bitch. Please taper correctly. I would hate for any of you to go through what i am because of a two week taper.  I listened to my doctor. Never again. Dr. Ashton only

There's no other option but to quick taper (or buy klonopin illegally which is unacceptable). I had to search forever just to find a doctor to keep me on 1mg of klonopin these years after the doctor I had didn't want to prescribe it anymore and this taper plan is all that he will provide for me (halving my dose monthly).

I'm on day 9 now. The last two days I've had the headaches under control. I've added high doses niacin, magnesium, Vitamin C and drink the tea tension tamer.

 

I was already taking melatonin prior to my tapering and I haven't changed that. I haven't had trouble sleeping and if I do I take an antihistamine like Benadryl or doxylamine.

 

Today for the first time I've experienced anxiety. It's not crippling but it's definitely a change in withdrawal symptoms.

Hang in there. I use progressive muscle relaxation when I get anxious. It's not always convenient, but there are a lot of pre-recorded audio scripts available out there. I haven't taken any sleep supplements/Benadryl yet. I take daily vitamins/minerals and omegas. I just ordered melatonin to use. Sleep has been my primary problem. So I may start. I'm usually a great sleeper. Having broken sleep now.
