Need some feedback on symptoms!

I am 3mos and 19 days from jump.  I have had good windows but have had the waves come over me off and on.  What I want to know before I run to an orthopedic doctor.  I have lower back pressure in hip area that moves from side to side or both sides of my tail bone.  It comes and goes, so I'm hoping its an sxs.  I walk every morning and it doesn't hurt, but as the day progresses it builds like a pressure with some dull pain.  No pinching, I had two neck surgeries so I know what the pinching pain is like, it's what got me here.  When I go to bed and get the sleep I am allotted, it seems to almost go away by morning.  I have gone as many as three days without this sxs, but seems to keep coming back.  Has anyone experienced similar symptoms.  Appreciate your feedback.  Thanks :-\

Hello TooOld70! :smitten:

I'm so sorry you are experiencing this sx. Please know that it is a very common withdrawal / recovery sx. I too had/have this sx. It was very severe for me at 3 months out. I alternate heat and ice, also, I rub icy hot on my lower back and hips, gentle massage feels pretty good too!  It does helps. It WILL lessen and eventually go away!! Please stay strong! BIG

Thanks, I figured that is the case, since it started during taper and I didn't do anything to make it so uncomfortable.  It's below my kidneys.  I just had all that checked.  Thanks again, just going to wait it out like all the other sxs.  If the vertigo, burning eyes, no energy, no sleep and the ringing ears would stop, wouldn't feel too bad.  :o

I am sure you have no kidney disease, they are doing the job! I had that too and it passed when I felt not poisoned any more.. I would be thankful and carry on:-)

Thanks Merigold1.  I see your March date.  That's when I jumped.  March18th.  Good luck on your journey!

This is severe for me at about 7 months out. My nerves in the back, pelvis, hip and leg are firing at the least provocation of usual movement. I'm hoping this let's up because it's debilitating.

Sounds like alot of us suffer from the same back thing.  Hope it passes for all of us soon.  I walk whether or not it's acting up, seems to lessen the intensity.

Today I pushed through and puttered around, but was careful. For an hour. I was OK for a bit. But stopping motion was awful. I took an Epsom salt bath for 15 minutes. Then got back into bed and tingled and ached very bad. This always sets me off emotionally, and I cry. NOT because I nm feeling sorry for myself. It's like my test ducts are wired to my peripheral nerves. Ugh.

You're still in the early days. I had the worst of it the first ten months off, then it started leaving. I do recall at 16 months off, more of my symptoms lifted. Then I believe it was at 24 months off, the symptoms decreased again. I'm over four years off and I'm healed pretty much, back to good.  Give it more time! You have to be patient!

Good luck!

Holy crap. I cannot be immobile from pain for two years, although that's as much time as I gave myself to be on the up and up. What a freakin nightmare.

First of all congratulations on the 3 months and 19 days off. I think it is a good idea to get checked out by the doctor just to reassure that it is nothing else. I have lower back pain but it doesn’t radiate anywhere. We all get so many symptoms in this horrible process. I hope you get relief soon.
