Heya

I just found this site and it looks like it can really help me.

I have been on benzos for about 10 years.  I was started on Xanax for 5 years then moved to klonopin.  I have been on .5 to 1 mg a day for the last 5 years.  I am tired of having my brain feel useless and want to taper off this stuff.

I am glad you found us today.The recommended reduction rate is 5 to 10 percent every two weeks. I think you will find this a excellent source for support and advice during your taper.

 

You might like to check out The Ashton Manual it is an authoritative source on what to expect in withdrawal and recovery.  Dr. Ashton is an expert in the field.
