[ka...]
This month this just started. I've been getting charlie horse pain in my lower legs and feet. I have to pull my feet forward or straighten my feet out to get them to stop then within a few minutes they might start again. I'm aching mostly under my arches today. Gosh I hate this. I'm prone to anemia so I wonder if I could be getting anemic again.
Guest [ba...]
Sounds more like muscle cramping to me. That's pretty common during withdrawal. Make sure you're getting enough water, potassium and minerals such as magnesium and iron (don't overdo these). Get some (mellow) exercise. Gentle massage/stretching. Warm soaks/baths often help (some people add epson salts). Tension/anxiety can also bring on cramping, so maybe work on relaxation meditations. [jh...]
I got Charlie horses while pregnant. A friend told me to grab my toes and pull them toward my shins and hold. She said to do this every night before you go to sleep. It worked really good for me. I would also do this during cramp and it seemed to help.
