Guest [st...]
I have been on 100 mg of Lamictal since March 2015. New Psych is having me reduce the dose each week by 25mg. I have read that people have been on as much as 400mg and tapered to zero over the course of a month. Today, first day of 25mg in AM and 25mg in PM. Feeling somewhat dizzy, a bit nauseous. Should I plow ahead, or am I going too fast. The doc said that 100mg is not a heavy dose that I have been on. He wants to get this one out of the way, and than we will discuss plan for further taper on Clonazepam (which I have been holding at since 6/3/16). He has brought up the topic of possibly converting over to Diazepam. He wants to evaluate if the Lamictal has been doing anything for me that he needs to be aware of. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
[ne...]
You should listen to your body!!! As long as you stay stable, go on. But I would go WAY slower as soon as I would start feeling bad wd. Many people seem to have no problem coming off Lamictal....others seem to have huge problems. Find it out All the best for you!
