[Pi...]
I know some try to eventually get on Valium for the long taper especially those who have been on Ativan and Xanax. My problem with Valium it's where I have been and I get no relief whatsoever. I must get a little because I'm not in total panic and anxiety. Could a person crossover from Valium to say klonopin or Librium ? I'm pretty close to tolerance withdrawal on the Valium.Any suggestions?

If you have developed therapeutic tolerance to Valium, it's unlikely that you will get therapeutic effect from a different benzo.
[Pi...]
thanks for the resonse builder. I know you have been there , done that by getting off. Were you ever to a point where it had no effect on you?
[bu...]
thanks for the resonse builder. I know you have been there , done that by getting off. Were you ever to a point where it had no effect on you? I began to become tolerant about 30 days from each dose increment. So my pdoc would increase my dosage. I started at 5 gm, and over a period time, was up to 15mg. My pdoc wanted to continuing increasing (she said 40mg was a recmmended "therapeutic dose"), but I refused to take more than 15mg. After about 60 days at that dose I was fully tolerant (my dose had no therapeutic effect) I continued to take it just to prevent WD sxs.
