[th...]
So I am switching to Klonopin while tapering Ativan as well. Right now I am on 1.5mg Ativan and .5mg Klonopin. I am supposed to sub one of my Ativans for a .25mg Klonopin today but i am really down ever since I switched on to Klonopin. I have taken K before and been fine but this time around I am depressed, sad and so exhausted walking down the street makes me want to sleep for days. Also worth mentioning, when I was originally put on Ativan I had paradoxical effects (extreme anger, agitation, depression) I have experienced exhaustion on and off during my year on Ativan but not this bad. I have two and a half months to get off all Benzos as I am going back to school in September. Any advice would help as I know that exercise and getting out will help me heal but i am so exhausted I could stay in bed all day, but then I feel worse. :'( :'(

If you can't do 20 minutes then start by doing 5 minutes per day. Don't beat yourself. Start with 5 minutes. Small increments. 2) Could you or someone in the house make you a vegetable green juice( blender/vitamix) in the mornings? Drink it. It's whole lot nutritious and much much better than coffee or tea. Green tea is good as long as you're not so anxious. 3) Try not to skip a meal. Have variety of food. When you are on these meds and you don't eat well then it's like drinking alcohol in an empty stomach. 4) Drink lots of water for detoxing. 5) Naps are fine if you need them. As long as it doesn't compromise your sleep at night!
