[Ti...]
Ok back in March 2014 I took klonopin for 4.weeks because of anxiety problems. I recovered nicely. 1 year and 8 months later in Novemner of 2015 I had to take it for the same reason. So 1 year and 8 months later. Would this be considered reinstating? I wax fully recovered. Never had an issue and was functioning really well. Anyone think the reason I'm struggling now is because of that? My withdraws has been a nightmare to say the least
[Fa...]
Sounds like you got lucky the first time around but it effected you the last. Just stay away and continue to let yourself heal!
[Wo...]
If your up to it, I would throw away the rest of the klonopin, there to tempting to have around. Stay away from medications that effect the brain chemistry, don't fight the withdraws to much, give it time, and you will get better. It may not seem like it now, but your early into this, but it will get better.

[Wo...]
That's good, it may not take as long as you think. Some of it depends on how many mistakes we make along the way. You have to have patience, and not try to hard to heal. Time is the real cure. I'm a firm believer that ours brains just need time to clear out of all those medications to stabilize, but it does take time. The mistakes are taking ssr's, benzo's, even over the counter stuff for sleep messes with the brain, and prolongs the recovery. I was struggling big time at 80 days. Plus the anti depressants you were taking are probably making it worse. WD can be bad, but when its bad, just keep telling yourself this is just something I'm going to have to work though until things get better. And it will get better. On my worse day of wd, you would have had to hold me down and preyed my month open to get me to take any type of pill that works on the brain. If it took 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, I didn't care, I was going to do it. And be careful with the doctors, They don't understand this, and usually make things worse. Always trying to give more pills. Stand firm.

My withdraws has been a nightmare to say the least Yes, that would be a reinstatement and might explain way you are having so much trouble this time around. Reinstatements are ill advised for a number of reasons. One of them is the risk of "kindling". "Kindling" is when each subsequent withdrawal is more difficult than the previous one. This phenomenon is seen in multiple withdrawals from either alcohol or benzodiazepines.
