[am...]
Hello I've been tapering as of last night and a few pills that I have tapered already don't seem to stabilize no matter where I put the scale. I'm using the Gemini - 20 and it seems like the weight of the pill changes every time I pull it off and put it back on. It's off by .004 it seems like each time. Are people getting to the exact number with certain scales? Or is this a common thing and people are using a close number? Thanks for any info
Guest [ba...]
The Gemini scale will do good enough for most tapering applications. For best results, use the scale in a room that has no wind currents. Put the scale on a very solid surface and don't lean on that surface when weighing. Also - watch where you breathe. I think most people see a variance of +/- 0.002 grams which isn't bad for $22. Minor variances will occur. There's nothing you can do to completely eliminate them. fwiw - a variance of even +/- 0.004 grams for a 0.200 gram weight is only 2%. That's pretty tight reproducibility. [...]
The last digit on any scale is not so accurate. If you want more accuracy it will cost a lot more.
