[...]
I'm 9 months out and my symptoms have been improving since my 6th month, but recently I've noticed that the more physically active I am the harder it is to sleep decent. Insomnia's been my worst symptom for the last 4 months, but if I poke around all day and don't do too much I'll sleep lightly 5-6 hours(which is a good night for me), but if I push my lawn mower around for a couple of hours, at night my brain will not rest at all and I won't sleep but 2-3 hours(if you call that sleep)and just be train wrecked the next day. Anyone experience anything like this?
[mi...]
Yes, yes and yes! People keep telling me to exercise to get better sleep, but it does the opposite. When I exercise I get 3 hours sleep. If I rest almost all day I get 4 hours and this has been going on for 10 months. My sleep is also very broken. When I try to explain it to people they don't understand. [Be...]
You actually have to do a hard workout. Mowing the lawn is active and healthy but you need to do an actual workout to get that tired effect at night. You would also need to do it at 4-6 hours before bed otherwise it will definitely keep you up all night.Intense cardio will do that for you lifting weight probably wouldn't. I dont know your physical capability , but i would try something else before you give up on the idea of working out. i DO LOVE MOWING THE LAWN THOUGH, it is therapeutic its like my zen. Best of luck Sorry for the bad advice
[do...]
I completely understand. Every time I attempt to get back to exercise my sleep suffers. It doesn't make pain worse or up my anxiety or anything... It just messed up my sleep. I get so little, that I just can't risk it right now. So, I just take easy walks when I can. [Be...]
Yes it happens to me almost every time. My wife calls me lazy:). Someone here suggested a hard work out. I have done it and it hasn't helped, although it has been months since I have done it abs may be time to try again. The only way to know is to try it. See what happens. If you can't tolerate it , don't push yourself Good luck
[...]
Thanks everyone for the responses. This kind of caught me off guard cause in the first 6 months of my wd I could do any thing I wanted physically with no problems. Now it's at the point that anything I do physically makes it impossible to get any sleep. But I am expecting this to go with all the other symptoms.
