Buddies,

Is there ANYTHING I can take that will help ease the nerve pain in my brain/spine/stomach...

Losing my mind.  :'(

May I suggest you search acupressure points and find some of the various body maps online that show their locations. Acupressure is different from acupuncture in that you apply pressure to specific spots with your finger pad instead of using needles.

You'll find diagrams for the hundreds of points around the body and information about which ones to use to relieve pain in different locations. Some are surprising: for example, their are spots on your legs that are great for stomach pain.

In my experience, different points vary in how effective they are. Four finger-widths below your navel is a great spot for abdominal pain, for example, and can be a godsend. Meanwhile, some points seem to have only a mild effect.

In fairness, the technique has skeptics who question its validity. However, some of the more effective spots have been very helpful to me during my taper. For example, the abdominal spot I mentioned above has relieved gruesome abdominal pain for me by as much as 90%, bring it from making me scream to quite tolerable.

I suggest ignoring talk of "life energy" and other mumbo-jumbo and just viewing it as a map of nerve junctions you can soothe to reduce pain and tension in various parts of your body.

Hi - after many years on high doses of benzos, I can speak to the nerve pain - the only thing I have found to allay the pain, the neuropathy, the core pain is Lyrica - I take 200 mg 2x a day -

I know its another drug, but its the only thing that works - I tried gabapenten, but Lyrica really takes care of the nerve pain for me -

God Bless,

Dan

If i was that far out in withdrawal i would use a high cbd low THC strain of cannabis that would fix everything that you are feeling right now. I live in Washington where you can go to the recreational stores and pick up anything you need so i dont know how accessible it is to you? Hope you feel better soon. You will make it through this pain i know it!

Take Tylanol. If it doesn't work, I would not mess with any drugs. Just do warm showers, ice packs, etc, eventually it will subside I promise you. I was sent into the depths of hell from this pain to the point that I couldn't believe it was possible. Just when I had gone on long enough where I couldn't take it anymore, it would subside.

Just hang in there

Thanks Buddies...

I'm going to have a breakdown  :'(

Waited 5 and a half hours in the ER. Finally saw the doctor. He checked my reflexes, pushed on my spine and stomach. Then wrote down the amounts of Aleve and Tylenol to take for one week before making an appointment with my family doctor for Lyrica. I told him the pain is so bad it makes me suicidal, he asked me if I want an AD... This has all got to be some kind of joke??

10 minutes. I saw him 10 minutes after a 5:30 wait. No wonder we're all sick.

Thanks for the recommendations Dan, Bill and Benzo

I will take the Tylenol and Aleve until Monday. I have an appointment with a Trauma centre to look into CBD oil. I'll try CBD oil first (I'm in Canada so it's legal with an RX. I can't tolerate THC though. It sent me to the hospital before with severe DP/DR/Panic). I don't know anything about Lyrica but even the name sounds dangerous  :'( It'll be a last resort. Way last.

Im sorry to hear that donnie that is real ruff, hopefully you get a window soon . So you can rest your weary mind and body from all this pain. Dont give up. Cbd is good but it isnt enough for pain, for me anyways it helps lower my blood pressure though and calms me down a bit in my mind. I took three months worth of cbd over the past few weeks. It is definatly worth a shot a lot of people swear by it you might just need a very high dose i think cbd works wonders just not pain wise for me.

Thanks Bill

I wish I could take THC but I can't. I'll try the CBD and even if it takes 1/10 of the pain away, I'll take it. It'll help me cope
