[Ti...]
So I'm having sleeping problems due to anxiety. I haven't slept in 2 days but something I noticed is that my neck is really really sore and I can't lift my arms. Is this something normal with anxiety or is this depression? I must conquer this by tonight because what happens is when I go to sleep it hurts so bad that I cannot fall asleep and it feels like the most pain I've ever felt my life. If anybody has any answers please let me know thank you so much
[Ch...]
Benzos are powerful muscle relaxers and when they're discontinued it takes awhile for the muscles to learn to relax on their own. I would try an OTC pain reliever like maybe Ibuprofen to see if it helps. Or you might try a heating pad for the sore places. I had a microwave heat pack I used constantly when I was at that stage. You can make a great microwavable heat pack by pouring about 2-3 cups of uncooked rice into a long sock and tying the top shut. Put it in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes. The weight and heat are both very therapeutic.
[Te...]
Yes, I get this also. It's very painful. Challis has a good suggestion. I use a heating pad on it, some Vicks. I hope you can get some much-needed rest, Timmyp!
