extreme heat and burning and paresthesia

[pe...]

Recommended Posts

I am continuing to have these symptoms, even at 11 months off Klonopin: extreme heat, burning and paresthesia. I do not have them 24/7. But about every other day they get real intense for many hours, then it dies down. I have had a few days here and there that are not too bad. It is awful.

Does anyone have anything remotely like this?  Many thanks.

Hi pentas, yes, I have this since tapering and stopping Clonazepam (7.5 months).  It is with me most of the day but worse upon waking during the night.  I have insomnia with anywhere from 2-4 hrs, also if I try to take a nap, which doesn't happen, it kicks in more intensely.

Yes  I have burning in my face and parathesia up and down back, neck, and stomach every day, with body pressure and anxiety(16 months off Valium);it eases up at night thank goodness.I  don't know how I get thru the day I am so uncomfortable but I try to distract a lot like Megan always suggests.

Hang in there;it will get better;just wish it didn't take soooo long!

I have it almost 24/7 after some rescue doses of ativan. Im beginning to think though its mostly anxiety and a little bit of withdrawal. How could 4 or 5 .125mg of ativan 7-8 weeks ago do this?

Yes, and getting worse at 9 months off.  Brain, face, mouth, arms, eyes and shoulders on fire.  Lava is coming out of my ears.  But this symptom is not even close to being as bad as my worst symptom.

I'm praying that its normal to feel so horribly bad this far out!

Im getting pricked and shocked all over my body non stop and cant sleep. Its killing me. I am trying to sleep and i get woken up by these sensations or kept awake by them.

Ive been off benzos now for two weeks. Hoping when i finally get some sleep i can start healing.

IT will go away when the body/brain is healed. I used to feel like I had a fever all the time. Not anymore.
