[...] Posted May 5, 2016 Share Posted May 5, 2016 Hey all! I need to go to the dentist for some well-needed dental work. I will be prescribed antibiotics. I know which ones not to take. That's not my question. Doctor will probably give me Amoxicilin. I am 4 plus months off a rapid taper. *Can* an antibiotic cause set back? Don't want to have acute now. Yea, i took antibiotics while taking benzos no problem. I would like to know if you take it once OFF and NOT healed from the Benos if it can cause one to go backwards? I am now 5 months later suffering from sever sound sensitivity and ear muscle tensing, anxiety, insomnia, blurry vision, body pains, night sweats etc. Will this stuff go away or has this antibiotic permanently damaged me? I was laid up for about 10 days!! Then, I just quit taking the doxy and things got better!! A lot better!! Can't believe it, but it is true!! Some antibiotics do have an affect on Diazepam!! My dentist wanted me to take it before procedures since I told him I had a heart murmur as a child, but then we decided I didn't need it after all. [tr...] Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 My son had dental surgery at 2 months post jump. Was put on 2 different antibiotics- long story. Anyway, he was put on Cipro and then an antibiotic of the amoxicillin type.
