[...]
I keep reading that at ten months out, people tend to have a huge set back? How true is this? Can I get a poll? Hopefully I can because maybe people are gone now that they are past the ten months and healed.
[be...]
No, it is not. It certainly wasn't for me. I think there are many members where we do not know their outcome. Many people spend a few months here and move on once they are better.

It wasn't true for me, anyway. Benzo withdrawal is so different for each of us, so the way it will go for any individual isn't predictable in advance. I have read it countless times on here though. I mean...countless!

[Ch...]
Nor is a 4 month, 5 month, 6 month, 7 month (etc) setback a real thing. These are going to be different for everyone and some are likely to have setbacks every month. Here's how it goes: http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=156111.msg2089263#msg2089263 Notice there are no timelines. We'll all have a different one. It's just that it's mentioned so much that I wanted to know if there was ay truth to it. I thought maybe it had to do with the fact that ten months was near to the twelfth month so a wave would come before that major turning pint. Anyway... Thank you!! [Ki...]
I've read this a lot too on the forum, Gia. I don't know if there is any truth to it or it's just a coincidence that some members experienced a bad wave around the 10 month mark. I'm 9 months free now so I'll let you know in a month. [Ja...]
Just my 2 cents, I am just about through my 10th month now and this last week was a real doozey! No science here just my account. Starting to pull out of it, would be great if it was the last big wave!!!

Starting to pull out of it, would be great if it was the last big wave!!! Huh?!!! Okay...I hope it was just a doozy and NOT related to the 10 month thing! According to those that have been here long the ten month thing is not true. I guess they would know. But are they paying attention really... [Ru...]
At about 9.5 months was my worst set back. I remember the mental symptoms such as extreme anxiety, panic, derealization, and cognitive fog kicking up really bad. I did turn a big corner at about 13 months. [fr...]
Gia, I had a wave that lasted 5 months! I was only sleeping once a week for that long. I recommend not touching anything that could rev you up or pull you into a wave. Especially during the first few months.

[Pe...]
Hi, I was feeling so much better at 8 months that I even thought I was on my way out of this, but going into my 10 month has been a real struggle. The depression has come back with a vengeance (an emptiness like I never new existed). Some of the physical pain and weakness too, especially in the areas where I had surgeries a couple of years ago. I have this feeling of fear with movement. Like in my mind I'm not sure if I do something I will end up hurt from it. I'm a very active person, and have played all kinds of contact sports, so this is something I can't understand. Also, my limbs feel heavy, I struggle with stairs some days. I have some intense pain in my limbs mostly, the kind of pain that you have right after an injury or surgery. It will come and go. A few weeks ago my neck started to really hurt (horrible tension) I was killing me in the evening and into the morning, but by late morning it would go away.. Right now my body feels so weighted down- just like my brain feels. I have to just roll with it, like you all I have no other choice. The hopeful side of this is every once in a while there are days that are just wonderful. Some days the sun shines beautifully on my life, and all the things that haunt me and pain me are gone-mysteriously, like some terrible dream. Anyway, good luck to you all on this journey.
