Yes, it's very normal.  Don't expect to be better overnight, but keep hope alive and celebrate little positive changes and you'll be okay.

My acute stage lasted for about 3-4 months.  Post acute for several more months.

What you're feeling is very typical for some of us going through this.

It sucks, but things do improve if this is just withdrawal for you, and my guess is that's probably what is going on.

Yes, this is very typical.

It can last several months sometimes longer.

Just hang on and take a day at a time.

Most of us feel hopeless when our symptoms are bad.

Hugs

Hi venezia...  I'm 13 weeks today and I have only had 2 or 3 good windows.  It is discouraging, but I'm believing for those good windows to come and get longer... you'll have them.  Hang in there!

God bless...

Yes, it's very normal. I'm almost five months out and still going through a host of symptoms (about 23). Each of us heal at different rates. Healing is unique to each person. It's non linear and unpredictable. I have felt hopeless over and over again throughout my healing process. It is very hard. Just be as patient and loving of yourself as you possibly can throughout your healing. Try checking out success stories on here for hope! Take it all one moment or one day at a time. This is what I try to do.  :smitten:
