I hear you can get Xanax Liquid prescription.  Should I see if my doc will order some up for me?

It says the following...

 

Alprazolam is a white to off-white crystalline powder, which is soluble in alcohol but which has no appreciable solubility in water at physiological pH.

 

Each mL, for oral administration, contains 1 mg of alprazolam.

 

Inactive ingredients: propylene glycol, succinic acid, succinic acid disodium salt, and water.

 

 

Since each ml contains 1mg X you will probably need to dilute it.  Looking at the ingredients, it is similar to the Valium oral solution, which can be diluted with water.  So it might be dilutable with water.  I'll guess the solvent that dissolves the xanax is the propylene glycol.
