What do you think about cutting 5 mgs now to see what happens?

Im currently doctorless but have some old 10 mg capsules so i dose 4x a day. Would it make sense to try and drop my 3rd dose to 20 and see how it goes? Or does that just seem crazy?

Hi Mo2, I thought you already tried that and it didn't work?  Another option is cutting daily.  If anything is going to work it is small daily cuts.

But how do I do that with no doctor to taper me? Or rx me the meds to taper with?

You need a doctor to write prescriptions, but that's all.  He/she doesn't need to be involved in the taper, in fact it is better if they are not IMO.

Yes but dont know for sure if I can get them filled. So i called the american recovery center in pamona the guy told me that they would take me off my librium and i couldnt take melatonin what they would do is put me on a small dose of pheno for7-10 days put me on trazadone for sleep and then when I get out it's up to my psychiatrist what to do. Only ive filed a grievence against my county p-doc and he said he had been on benzos before and methadone and alcohol and im like yeah but were you taking them 4x a day every day for over a year? He said no, but I gotta get going I have other calls. Im like what would they use to treat my anxiety and panic and he said antihystamines which i cant take or ssris which I can't take. This is scaring me especially with my history of seisures and my bad liver.

Basically the county p doc. I have no other doctors right now. Don't know if anyone will take my case on no one really seems to want to and This is a benzo free county. So the county has offered me dropping by 25% before 50% now or going to pamona recovery center and detoxing for 7-10 days they would take me off the librium and give me pheno and trazadone. But once I get out it's not thier problem. Once I leave anything else id have to see the county psych. And he wouldn't reinstate me if I needed it or keep me on pheno if I needed it.
