I'm eight months and still hurting bad. What was your recovery like at this point. Did you start to improve. Just looking for some hope.

Also, just had to leave family after five safe weeks there. Very worried about being on my own. Just feel so sick and alone. Please tell me we all heal. Preferably soon.

Mine was quite terrible at the end of month 8, hit a massive wave, it wasn't until month 10 where I saw massive improvements but I still have some bad days, like today for instance, my anxiety has been pretty bad but for the past week I've been feeling great - nearly there Satch :)

I was on xanax for 13 years.  Went off last August.  I have had bad insomnia.  Lately it is still with me, but better.  The day after I get good sleep, I feel almost normal, at least my brain does.  I have fatigue now and for the past few months.  Anyway, I am also alone.  Went through the taper and all of it alone.  You will find the strength you need.  Please don't get discouraged and never go back on.  I know, in spite of the issues, I am so much healthier than when on.

I guess what I am saying is I am in my sixth month off and, although way not healed, it is better.  This site  is a godsend.  Blessings to you, dear soul.

Well done on getting to 8 months, Satch. That is a great achievement.

I improved gradually all the time but it was so very slow it was hard to see it.  My symptoms are all physical. I think of my journey in 3 month segments as I could only see an improvement every 3 months.

At 8 months I felt I was not much better.  The progress continued, still very slow, and now I feel much better.

Don't be discouraged. You have done well.

Eight months out, I was still not doing well because during that whole month I was so tired I could barely function. Then in month 9 it flip-flopped and I was having anxiety spikes. But during month 10, things have really started turning around. I'll be starting month 11 in a couple of days and I'm amazed, really, at the sudden changes for the better. Of course I could be hit with a terrible wave at any time, but I never would have thought that I would be starting to heal this rapidly.
