Hi Jerry

Im off Xanax about 4 and half months.  Im not gonna lie to you,  it was hell. I was in hell before I began to come off it, long before.  My moods swings were off the wall. I did not know at that time what was wrong with me and doctors that were treating me had me believing that I had a mood disorder that is bipolar. Completely wrong.

When I came across this site, I was able to acknowledge what was going on and realise it was all xanax withdrawal .

Since then , the doctor who misdiagnosed me has admitted he was wrong . Not many of them do.

So to sum up , and I hope I haven't frightened or upset you , Xanax is a demon of a drug. It was my downfall for years and I didn't even put two and two together.

I would love to see you eventually get off it Jerry as I have read many of your posts and seen your struggle . Please dont be hard on yourself.  Its not you. Its that demon drug  (as I call it)

.

Are u all over the place during the day?

Used to be that way earlier in my taper.  It mostly settled down when I got below 1 milligram of Clonazepam, I notice by my

written notes.

*Jeepy*

Congrats on being off.  If I could just get somewhat stable I could taper.  Quite frankly I feel near suicidal if I don't take it.  Believe me I want off.

Yes Jerry . I understand and I have been there in that frame of mind myself.  When I felt like this , I kept saying to myself  'this is not me , its Xanax'.  Its hell and its frightening.  Talk it out aswell with your nearest and dearest. Please don't keep feelings like this bottled up.
