Dry Cut versus liquid micro taper

Can anyone tell me what advantages there might be to a dry cut versus a liquid micro taper? Is one method considered more successful than the others?

You are going to get all sorts of answers to this question, and there isn't any "right" answer, only personal preferences.

For me, a liquid titration was the best way to go. I had already tried doing dry cuts, and I failed miserably. When I was at 5mg I tried a few times to cut my dose by just 0.25mg and each time I had to reinstate.

Obviously I'm one of those people who is very sensiitive to benzos. Maybe there are a lot of people who are equally sensitive, maybe there aren't, but I think we can all agree that a lot of people on BB are the sensitive types. Obviously my body was unable to handle doing those larger cuts in one go, but was able to adapt a bit more easily to making tiny daily cuts. I still wasn't totally symptom free and if I got impatient and tried to increase my cuts a bit I would always suffer s/x.

Anyway, it took me 22 months, but I know the only way I am now able to say I'm benzo free is because I followed a liquid titration taper, and I would never have learned about it if it hadn't been for the people on BB.
