I ended up on clonazepam after dreadful withdrawal from pregabalin. (I didn't take both together). I've been on clonazepam for 8 weeks now. I was thinking of planning a long taper because my body is so messed up from the pregabalin. Does anyone else have similar experiences with lyrica and benzo withdrawal.  Because my lyrica withdrawal was so so awful it's making me petrified about withdrawing from clonazepam. I'm probably crossing to valium first.

Hi there!

I suffered from Lyrica too!

It was hell to get off .... had no help from my doc .... and I was a novice at withdrawal.

For me, the two withdrawals were completely different.

To get off clonazepam, I titrated slowly ..... and this worked.  I am now med-free and have recovered.

I didn't switch to valium because I was afraid of new reactions ..... better the beast you know idea.

I wish you great success.

You survived Lyrica and you will survive this.

Eight weeks on a benzo is long enough to become dependent, but is brief enough to work to your advantage.

You can do this!
