Worried and lost seeking advice dr is unethical

So I'm on klonopin I was only on it for 2 weeks before it was ativan , I WAS taking 1mg when waking up and 1 mg at night now I'm just trying to ask a few questions and get advocate advice from a community that will understand what my problems are and what my DR is trying to accomplish -atreyou

Sounds like maybe your doctor moved you from Ativan to Klonopin because Klonopin has a longer half-life, perhaps? 

 

A good resource about benzodiazepines is the Ashton Manual. Here is a link to the manual: Professor Ashtons Manual  It’s great for learning about these meds and for taper plans. Ashton recommends reducing between 5 - 10% every 10/14 days.
